From the developer
This is not a protocol, not a catalog claim, and not a policy paper. It is why the project exists.
I am not okay with the gap between the technology we are told we live in and the life most people actually have. Food is expensive and climbing. Housing is out of reach. Getting hired is a maze even when companies say they need people. The story is that we are already in a golden age. Daily life often does not feel like one.
This repository is not housing policy, labor policy, or a plan to set prices. I am not asking science files to do that job.
It is a science project. Science already has huge machines for what is known — papers, citations, search. It has almost nothing that treats what is not known as a public, named object, or that treats “this field’s math is the same as that field’s math” as something you can check. That is what I am building: open questions, claimed identities between fields, and tests that are allowed to fail.
I think a lot of people — and a lot of automated summaries — stop at “this is a catalog.” The part I care about is the next step, and I think it is easy to miss.
The catalog is not the impact. The reuse is.
Applied fields waste years re-deriving what another field already solved, or they never borrow at all because the translation was a metaphor on a slide. If a bridge is a real mathematical identity, not a vibe, then ecology can inherit percolation, epidemiology can inherit finite-size corrections, materials and energy and medicine can inherit methods that already have names next door. That is how science changes what we can build. What we can build is what, later, shows up in health, energy, food systems, materials — in whether a society feels like it is going forward.
I want a real golden age of humanity. I do not think you get there by writing a rant in a repo. I think you get closer if discovery is less wasteful: fewer duplicated simulations, fewer dead metaphors, a place a serious person can look, and AI used for pattern recognition across sciences against named, testable identities instead of as a hallucination generator.
That only works if the science layer stays strict. A thousand unverified “this is like that” links will not change a lab or a life. One identity a specialist will defend, plus a test that can print INCONCLUSIVE or fail, can. That is why I care when a demo and a writeup disagree. Honesty is the transmission belt. Without it, none of the downstream picture is earned.
So: this project is about science. If it succeeds at that, it has a legitimate chance of changing sciences that later touch how we live. I am building the first-order thing — the map, the claimed math, the test — so that second-order effect is possible.
